Stappas is a 1964 graduate of Bradley University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in business and finance. For the past 30 years, he has worked as a small business planning consultant, first at the Ford Financial Group and, most recently, at Lee-Nolan Associates LLC, Fort Lee, N.J.
Over the years, Paul's business planning experience has enabled numerous small businesses to reach their full potential. To achieve success, most companies will eventually need to improve cash flow, reduce taxes, obtain financing, lower overhead and, manage growth. This, says Stappas, can be done when basic bookkeeping systems are correctly established.
A frequent lecturer on the subject of best bookkeeping practices and a no-nonsense lecturer on how to keep a small business running and profitable, he is the author of The Stappas Perspective, a newsletter that offers bookkeeping tips and strategic planning advice for a national audience.
An active supporter of the AHEPA Cancer Research Foundation, Stappas lives in Branchburg, N.J. His son, Gregory Stappas, is his business partner. |
